ON TOUR Our
4th generation family farm consists of a series of grazing paddocks
where we graze out Scottish Highland Cattle-- cow/calf pairs and finishing
calves. On our tour, you will visit the unique Highland cattle up close and personal, visiting their pastures firsthand. You can walk in pioneer wagon trails across virgin prairie, pick wild flowers, enjoy breathtaking pasture vistas, take in a sunset or stargazing or learn more about grass management and grass finishing beef cattle.
PRODUCTS AVAILABLE From our farm, we market sweet tasting, healthful grass-finished Scottish Highland beef. We sell our beef by quarters, halves or individual cuts. Our beef is all processed at a local USDA inspected processor. We also market cattle skulls and tanned hides.
OUR HERITAGE Prairie Blossom Trails is located along a major wagon trail that once served as a main road for folks traveling to nearby Constance. In fact, on the high hill above our farm, you can see the steeple of historic St. Joeseph Catholic Church two miles away.
OUR FAMILY Pat
and his wife Julie head up the operation along with their four children.
